BEN Partners with Midwest Blockchain Consortium

We are excited to announce our new partnership with The Midwest Blockchain Consortium!

BEN has its roots in the Midwest, with our founder Jeremy Gardner having founded BEN in 2014 shortly after joining the University of Michigan Bitcoin Club.

Since then, BEN has helped start and grow blockchain clubs in the Midwest by providing educational material, leadership training, and an online community of club leaders and students from around the world.

Meanwhile, the Midwest Blockchain Consortium officially formed in 2019 with the mission to provide students in the Midwest with opportunities to service to other universities, corporations and individuals interested in blockchain. Through MBC, students can develop business use cases, MVPs or proof of concepts, or provide blockchain educational workshops for students or enterprise clients.

A recap of the Midwest BEN University Chapters and MBC University Clubs that will benefit from the combined resources of this partnership:

  • Miami University Blockchain Club

  • Spartan Blockchain

  • Blockchain at Michigan

  • Marquette University Blockchain Lab

  • Blockchain@IU

  • Loyola Blockchain Club

Of course, as new blockchain clubs are formed in the Midwest, they will be encouraged to join both networks to be equipped with all the resources they need to succeed.
