Announcing The BEN Portal!

We are proud to announce the release of the BEN Portal. We have been working on the BEN Portal to create a single point of access for students to receive information about upcoming events, opportunities, and the home of the highly anticipated BEN Learn platform. The BEN Portal is free for students to join, so we hope to see many more students onboarded soon!

Paid Research Opportunity for BEN Students

We are excited to exclusively present to you one of BEN’s first PAID research opportunities. We have been approached by Smartswap, a “one click slippage-free cross-chain swap” who wish to have a research paper conducted.

SmartSwap is the world's first smart decentralized exchange (SDEX) providing a one-click slippage-free cross-chain swap in a simple layer that decentralizes the access to all CEX (Centralized exchanges) and OTC (over-the-counter) industry. The best way to think of SDEX is like PayPal creating a simple one-click layer on top of banks to send and receive funds. This project is being launched under the ATOM Foundation’s umbrella.

Research Brief:

The primary aim of the research paper is to compare Smartswap’s capabilities to traditional AMMs and DEXs. The paper should be geared towards Smartswap’s ability to have no need for liquidity providers (LPs); the implications of diminishing LPs during bear markets should be discussed in comparison to SMART, shedding light on the long term scalability of the project, as well as the limitations of AMMs and centralized cross-chain DEXs with centralized points of failure.

We will be paying $100 to the individual/organization that gets selected to undertake this project.
