Hey everyone,We are pleased to announce the launch of the first annual Blockchain Education Network Excellence Awards!The outstanding achievements of members of our community and university chapters have inspired BEN to launch an annual series of awards. These highlight achievements in education, research, initiative, and other aspects of being a standout BEN chapter.These awards highlight the values that the Blockchain Education Network upholds: community building, innovative educational initiatives and research, and will give chapters the opportunity to showcase their hard work. It is our hope that these awards will encourage further growth and innovation in Blockchain academia and help chapters and members in their commitment to improving and spreading Blockchain education. 

Any BEN University Blockchain Club is eligible to apply for an award!

A Chapter may only apply for up to 2 awards. All events, research, experiences, etc. referenced must have happened within the past calendar year. If chosen, university chapters will be recognized during a global Zoom event where the 100+ BEN chapters and our thousands of community members and alumni are invited.

Timeline

Nov 10 - Award announcement & applications opened

• Student representatives fill out the Google form for their respective chapter, adhering to the 2-award application limit

Nov 20 - Award applications close at 11:59 PM EST and BEN starts deliberations

• Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances

• After submission, no changes can be made to the application

Nov 22 - Zoom Award Night is held and award winners are announced

• Winners can expect their Chapter to be contacted the following day with details.
